Super Freak, She’s a very kinky girl… Martina Hingis tested positive for cocaine at the most recent Wimbledon. The positive test along with age and recurring injuries has led the once dominant woman’s tennis player to retire. It has yet to be determined just how deep the drug has infiltrated the once prestigious sport. How many other players have traded their tennis balls for speedballs?
While Ms. Hingis denies ever taking drugs, one has to wonder how else she could have tested positive? Perhaps she was an undercover Swiss agent forced to sniff the nose candy to maintain cover…or she just thought the white lines were a form of tennis training. We wish her the best in her new life as a retired pro athlete with tons of money and nothing to do…I’m sure she’ll stay out of trouble.
She may never again grace the hallowed courts of Wimbledon, but she will always be remembered as the Sweet Lady Caine of tennis, and to leave you this quote by the late Rick James, “Cocaine…it’s a helluva drug.”
